The PedsGuide App is a FREE Pediatric Decision Support Tool developed by Children’s Mercy Kansas City (CMKC) to help health care providers and emergency services personnel access assessment and treatment guidelines for children facing acute illness. Users have access to step-by-step management recommendations for different acute illness scenarios that incorporate the most up-to-date evidence and expert opinion. This app reduces the cognitive load for users, facilitating an efficient aid for care management. Features include resuscitation, febrile infant, asthma, diabetes and DKA, and BRUE; and the experts at CMKC are continually optimizing and adding modules.
