The Move-D Brace is a simple and elegant mechanical elbow brace that stabilizes tremors in the dominant upper extremity to improve the performance of Activities of Daily Living (ADL) for pediatric and adult patients with movement disorders such as Essential Tremor, Ataxic Cerebral Palsy, and Parkinson’s Disease. The brace provides localized pressure with a soft protrusion over the ulnar nerve and a dampening knob (located at the elbow joint) to stabilize tremors to improve performance of ADLs without limiting range of motion. The resistance provided by Move-D can be adjusted at the user’s discretion by rotating the dampening knob.
