FDA- Pediatric Medical Devices
CTIP: The Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics- CTIP recognizes the unique health needs of children and is committed to advancing new pediatric devices. Our goal is to support innovators and encourage the development of safe, effective medical devices designed specifically for pediatric patients.
Midwest Pediatric Device Consortium: The MPDC is a pediatric medical device accelerator comprised of a hub of Ohio Children’s Hospitals, Academic Institutions, and Industry Partners committed to advancing medical device development in pediatrics nationally.
UCSF-Stanford Pediatric Device Consortium: The UCSF-Stanford PDC aims to improve the health, safety, and quality of life of pediatric patients by accelerating high-value, high impact pediatric device solutions at all stages of the total product lifecycle towards commercialization.
Southwest Pediatric Device Innovation Consortium (SWPDC): The Southwest-Midwest National Pediatric Device Innovation Consortium, based at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine, is a “free and no-strings-attached” virtual accelerator that supports pediatric device innovators throughout the pediatric device life cycle. We provide direct device and seed funding, consulting assistance, engineering and design assistance, potential clinical collaborators, and connections to local programs and resources.
Alliance for Pediatric Device Innovation: The Alliance for Pediatric Device Innovation (APDI) serves as a critical device development resource by providing expert advice, support services, and fund management of pediatric device innovation. Our long-term objective is to improve pediatric health care by increasing the number of effective pediatric medical devices and contribute to the national effort to address the unmet need for pediatric medical devices.

Pediatric Online Communities

PedsMrkt Community: The PedsMrkt Community is a free online community where you can connect with other pediatric professionals, gain knowledge, and promote innovation. We invite pediatric professionals to move outdated email listserv conversations to the PedsMrkt Community to improve communication and break down silos.
CHA Member Communities: Communities include ACE Kids Implementation, Behavioral Health, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Educators, Quality and Patient Safety, & Workplace Safety and Security.
AAP Sections and Councils: AAP Sections and Councils are communities for members to join and connect with other professionals who share a pediatric subspecialty, surgical specialty, special area of interest or stage of career.

Digital Medicine Society (DIME): Convening and activating leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts from around the globe at the intersection of digital innovation and healthcare, DiMe exists to solve the problems that no one else can fix.
KidsX: The KidsX accelerators and innovation programs support early-stage digital health companies achieve product and business model validation in the pediatric market.

Pediatric Patient Insights

iCAN: Started in 2014, the International Children's Advisory Network, Inc. (iCAN) is a non-profit 501(c)3 with its headquarters located in Atlanta, Georgia. With chapters on four continents, our members are youth between the ages of ~8 and 18 who are living with chronic, rare, or complex medical conditions. We also welcome children without medical conditions! iCAN gives these youth a platform to share with industry, researchers, and regulators their experiences living with a medical condition, device, drug, or as a kid. iCAN is an official community partner of the FDA and is a part of its Total Product Life Cycle Advisory Program (TAP).

Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI): IHI is a not-for-profit organization driving the improvement of health by advancing the quality and value of health care.
National Initiative for Children's Healthcare Quality (NICHQ): NICHQ seeks to catalyze a national commitment to improve health care for children, as well as to achieve better outcomes in practices that care for children by developing, testing and deploying new methods to provide and improve care.

Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

AIMed: AIMed is the driving force ensuring the healthcare sector is not left behind. Our goals are to eradicate challenges, define AI enabled solutions and create an efficient workplace, with patient outcomes at its core.
