About Us

Smileyscope is a multi-award winning digital therapeutics company that uses  proprietary virtual-reality (VR) to reduce patient pain and anxiety and improve patient experience. This results in faster, better and safer healthcare.

Our vision is to expand the frontiers of patient-centered care, improving the moments that matter most.

Our Innovation Story

Smileyscope VR was designed by clinicians, for clinicians. It is easy to learn, fits seamlessly into the clinical workflow, and is loved by clinicians, patients and caregivers.

Smileyscope VR is the first FDA-approved VR product for acute pain. It is clinically proven to reduce patient pain, anxiety and the need for restraints. It is used by clinicians across a range of medical procedures such as needle procedures, wound dressings, anesthetic induction, awaiting surgery, radiology procedures to avoid sedation, and plaster cast applications/removals.

Smileyscope Therapy Mode is used during needle procedures, reducing pain and anxiety. It comes as an integrated, ready-to-go hardware and software solution and is FDA-cleared for ages 4-11 years.
